Strengthening Partnerships for a Brighter Future in Siaya
Siaya County continues to position itself as a hub for growth, opportunity, and innovation. Governor James Orengo warmly welcomed a high-level delegation from KCB Group, led by Managing Director Anastacia Kimutai, for a courtesy call at his office.
The discussions focused on strengthening collaboration in key sectors including agriculture, healthcare, SMEs, clean energy, and other strategic areas of investment. A special highlight was the upcoming Siaya International Trade and Investment Conference, set to take place from 14th to 17th October at the Siaya National Polytechnic. This conference will showcase Siaya’s potential as an investment gateway and a driver of inclusive development.
Governor Orengo commended KCB’s unwavering commitment to Siaya, noting impactful initiatives such as Tujiajiri, which has empowered women and youth with skills, opportunities, and financial support. He emphasized that such partnerships are instrumental in accelerating economic growth, creating jobs, and realizing the ambitious vision of the Nyalore Manifesto.
Together, we are building transformative pathways that uplift livelihoods and secure a prosperous future for every resident of Siaya,” Governor Orengo affirmed.
As the County deepens its partnerships with key stakeholders like KCB, the foundation is being laid for sustainable development that benefits communities across all sectors. The collaboration reflects a shared commitment to not only unlock Siaya’s vast potential but also to deliver lasting impact for generations to come.
Siaya’s brighter future is anchored on partnerships, innovation, and people-centered development and that future is already taking shape.
