Dr. Ruth Elizabeth Omondi is a visionary leader and scholar dedicated to investing in people as the foundation for transformative growth. She is a Senior Lecturer at Jaramogi Oginga Odinga University of Science and Technology, with over 15 years of experience driving impactful innovations in Maternal and Child Health across government and development sectors in Kenya.
Dr. Omondi currently serves as a Technical Advisor on Nurturing Care for Early Childhood Development for the Lake Region Economic Bloc (LREB), where she provides strategic leadership in advancing human capital development through early investments in children and families.
As a founding member of the Smart Start Siaya Initiative, Elizabeth champions nurturing care as a powerful driver of trade, productivity, and sustainable economic transformation.
