Dr. Monica Oguttu is the Executive Director of the Kisumu Medical and Education Trust (KMET), an indigenous organization established in 1996 based in Kisumu but covering 37 out of 47 Counties with a mission to promote development in underserved communities through innovative health and education programs, and is currently the lead implementing partner of Smart Start Initiative (SSI) in LREB
Monica is a Renowned Public Health specialist and an alumnus of Harvard School of Government.
She is known for her ability to promote collaboration among government officials, the private and public sectors, and communities to achieve better results.
She has been a member of various Technical Working Groups and boards, e.g., Siaya County Nurturing Care for Early Childhood Development (Nyathi En Mwandu Campaign), Board member & Chair Quality committee of Jaramogi Oginga Odinga Referral Hospital (JOORTH)
